1. About these terms

These terms govern use of LawDirectory.uk and the purchase of directory listings. By using the site or purchasing a listing you agree to them.

2. Directory listings

Listings are currently free. Listing customers must provide accurate information and a valid regulator or registration number, and must be currently authorised to provide legal services in the UK. We verify credentials against public registers and may refuse or remove any listing.

3. Payment and subscriptions

Listings are currently provided free of charge. We do not charge for inclusion in the directory or for ranking position, and no payment details are collected. If we introduce paid listings or paid upgrades in future, we will publish the applicable prices and terms before any charge applies, and we will not charge an existing listing without notice and agreement.

4. Acceptable use

You must not submit false, misleading, defamatory or unlawful content, make guarantees of legal outcomes, or misuse the site. We reserve the right to edit listing content for accuracy and compliance.

5. No legal advice / no endorsement

LawDirectory.uk does not provide legal services or advice and does not endorse or recommend any listed lawyer or firm. Users must carry out their own checks.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on directory content or from dealings between users and listed lawyers.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
